Designed to be the ultimate stage guitar! The Superlite has a slightly thinner body than our other Comet models. They are stripped down in appointments, making this our most affordable Comet model, but not in tone and our signature - unmatched playability. The bound body features hand selected premium mahogany. Neck blanks are quarter-sawn and matched to ensure even resonance, weight and tone. $2450 MAP. Specifications:

For 2011, we have re-spec'd the Standard and gone back to our roots. The instrument now/again features a maple cap on a mahogany body for that classic tone bands like ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin made famous. The binding on the body's edge is the natural maple and when combined with a stain on the top, creates a "faux binding." The rosewood/pau ferro fingerboard is inlaid with abalone dots. The headplate is either ebony or matched appropriately with the body wood (maple on maple for example). We generally use eastern hard rock maple, but Standards with a premium top set can be ordered as well through a Custom Shop Inquiry. $2600 MAP.

The Surftop option can be added to a Comet Standard or Custom for $200. Premium lumber options are also available per quote and ordered through a Custom Shop Inquiry. Remember, our Custom Shop is really an options shop - you don't get a "Custom Shop" decal on your guitar or a special serial number. Every guitar that comes off our line is at the highest level. For 2011 we have re-spec'd our Comet Custom to have more appointments. First, in addition to the bound body, we now bind the neck for a real classy look. Second, we are using 4 conductor wiring in our pickups so there are additional tonal options using push pull pots. It keeps the look the same and provides more versatility. At the heart of the Custom, the multi-lam neck construction provides superior durability, strength, sustain and tone that is our trademark. $3350 MAP. *You can also include the Surftop option (described above).
