Maple Top

This is the traditional Maple on Mahogany body build. Tried and true. Edits can be made to the fingerboard (RW v. Ebony) and neck to achieve the right fit for any player and style.

Paduak Top

Our favorite tonewood! The difference from maple is that it's an oilier wood and has a slightly different EQ response. It's very hard like maple, but has a greasier top end combined with a strong midrange. Makes for a great rock tone without mudding out. Works great with humbuckers and destroys with P90's

Redwood Top

Redwood is not for everyone. It's a little more delicate than the hardwoods above and has amazing string seperation (no muddy crossover), perfect for complex voices and clean styles. From an EQ perspective, it's scooped with a woody (almost upright quality) bass response and a sweet, high end, not snappy like maple, a softer attack with strong resonance and perfect balance with the low. It is absolutely perfect for fingerstyle players who are adept at point/counterpoint and walking bass lines.

Superlite

Story...

Designed to be the ultimate stage guitar! Simply put, this is a lighter weight build than our other Comet models. Has a thinner profile and lighter weight lumber component. Made to rock all night with the same great tone you would expect from our higher end models.

We use hand selected premium swamp ash, alder (or mahogany - on special order) body matched to a maple neck and voiced to suit through fingerboard selection...maple, EI rosewood or bloodwood.
